Team Sky has unveiled their new 2018 kit design. The team will continue their partnership with Castelli as the Italian company will make the kit for the upcoming season. The jersey design will carry some elements from last year’s kit. They light streaks or data streaks will return but there’s been a few changes.
The data streaks in the rear of the jersey will represent all the team’s wins.
While the streaks in the front will represent the team’s wins in 2017. The jerseys are white with a front band in the team’s famous blue color, along with the rear band as well.
While introducing the new kit, team manager Dave Brailsford said, “We initially changed to white jerseys for the Tour de France last summer, and it was the feedback from riders and the response from our fans that inspired us to go white for the 2018 season. Our ambition is for our riders to have the leading performance clothing in the peloton, and we believe that the 2018 kit is our best yet.”
