The second race CAT 1/2 Race of the Rosewood Winter Series did not disappoint. The field was small but full of horsepower. Ex-local Giancarlo Bianchi paid a visit from his home in Colorado and joined in on some South Florida winter racing.

Giancarlo “GC” Bianchi with the dab. Hate this guy, wait, love this guy. #BFC
Team SilCarbon had a good turnout for the 1/2 race. With Alexis Cespedes the Road State Champ & Mikey Ferreiro the U23 TT champ in attendance.
Anthony Yaques of Amino Rip focused at the line.
Current National Champ Alex Zambrana with multiple state champ Patrick Sansbury. The field was full of hitters.
The racing was full gas from the start, with attacks and breakaway attempts happening instantly.
The first breakaway was stacked, and at first it looked like they were going to stay away.
Alexis Cespedes was chasing hard to get on that break.
And with the help of his teammates he was able to get back in it.
With the group back together, a few counter attacks tried to stick after.
But it was Gunter Hermanni of Amino Rip and Alexis Cespedes that were able to work together and establish a gap from the group.
And the chasing started, first it was Jose Armas.
Then, GC tried to bridge up.
Followed by Patrick Sansburry.
Eventually GC & Pat joined up with Jose Armas and started doing the chasing.
Who said this stuff was easy?
After lapping the field, Gunter & Alexis went for the win. With Gunter taking the top spot. Towards the end of the race there was such commotion that we missed the winning shot. Congrats to Gunter & his team for a great win. Also, chappeu to Alexis for working hard to bridge and then go on an attack with the winning move.
