ProCyclingMiami Velocé Cup: CAT4/5 Race

Keeping with the pattern of the day’s races,  the 4/5 race endured and it was a day of breakaways at the ProCycling Miami Veloce Cup.

The filed was a bit smaller and there were only a hand full of riders with the grit to attempt winning in this style.

There were several attempts to break away from the main field.

The most impressive rider was this young boy.

In a field of men he attempted a solo attack and stayed away for approximately 3 laps, it didn’t stick but it was refreshing to witness such a young rider go against the odds.

Definitely showed major panache.

But in the end it was three riders normally known for sprinting that made the winning break.

That breakaway group made it to the line and go the win.
